Presented by Winebow, a great distributor that we work extensively with, this event features more than 25 wineries and 75 wines from around the world. Italy and France will be the main focus, but we’ll also have offerings from Spain, Argentina, the United States, and more! From everyday values to stunning splurges, this is a great opportunity to explore and discover new gems for your cellar or any-day enjoyment. And, to keep it fun, we’ll have a DJ spinning classic hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s!

The event runs from 5 – 7 p.m. and is in the gorgeous Pritzlaff Building, just across the river from the Milwaukee Public Market. Cost of the tasting is a mere $30 – this is an outstanding deal given the amount and quality of wines you’ll be tasting! Thief Wine is thrilled to present our annual Fall Grand Tasting, a fantastic walk-around tasting event that past Grand Tasting attendees called "the best wine event they've ever attended." Our Fall Grand Tasting was fantastic, and this event should be no exception! We'll be keeping the same format (awesome walk-around tasting with 16 wine tables, each with 7 wonderful wines to sample and enjoy).

And the details are...

What: A walk-around wine tasting featuring more than 100 delicious and distinctive fine wines from around the world, with almost all wines in the $15-$65 per bottle price range. All wines will be selected by Thief Wine and reflect our focus of artisanal, high-value, terroir-driven selections (i.e., not the mass-production wines you see at most large wine tastings). Light hors d'oeuvres (cheese, bread, cured meats, fruit, etc.) will be provided, and there will be live music for ambience. To ensure attendees have the best possible experience and prevent overcrowding, tickets are limited.

To be quite honest, it's an embarrassment of riches (if we're going to put on a large tasting, we're going to do it right), so you'll want to pace yourself and be smart.

Admission ($90 + fees) includes admission from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m., with the chance to sample and enjoy the 100+ wines, grouped among 16 tables. Tickets are limited to 150. It's pretty awesome. Get these tickets now!

How: Easy. At the door you'll get a high-quality Riedel glass (that's yours to keep!) and a tasting sheet. The wines are grouped in tables around the venue, and you can sample whatever you'd like! No additional costs or tasting coupons needed. We'll even send out the list of wines sorted by table in advance so you can see what will be where and plan your tasting strategy to maximize the experience.
